Privacy Policy

Effective Date: 1 January 2026  |  Last Updated: 1 January 2026

go-currencycloud Ltd ("go-currencycloud", "we", "us", "our") is committed to protecting your personal data. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, share, and protect information when you use our cross-border payment infrastructure and FX solutions.

1

Data We Collect

We collect information you provide directly: name, email address, phone number, company details, and payment or banking information when you register or use our services.

We automatically collect technical data including IP address, browser type, device identifiers, pages visited, and referral URLs through cookies and similar technologies.

We may receive data about you from third-party identity verification providers, financial institutions, and public sources to comply with regulatory requirements.

2

How We Use Your Data

To provide, operate, and improve the go-currencycloud platform including processing cross-border payments, currency conversions, and account management.

To comply with applicable laws including AML, KYC, and financial regulatory obligations across the jurisdictions in which we operate.

To communicate service updates, security alerts, and — where you have consented — marketing communications about our FX and payment solutions.

3

Cookies & Tracking

We use strictly necessary cookies to operate the platform, performance cookies to analyse usage, and functional cookies to remember your preferences.

You may manage or withdraw cookie consent at any time via our Cookie Preference Centre or your browser settings; note that disabling certain cookies may affect platform functionality.

We do not use cookies for cross-site advertising profiling.

4

Third-Party Sharing

We share data with regulated banking partners, payment networks, and liquidity providers solely to execute the transactions you request.

We engage sub-processors (cloud hosting, analytics, fraud detection) under strict data processing agreements that prohibit independent use of your data.

We will disclose data to law enforcement or regulators when required by law; we will notify you where legally permitted to do so.

5

Your Rights (GDPR & CCPA)

  • Access: request a copy of personal data we hold about you.
  • Correction: ask us to rectify inaccurate or incomplete data.
  • Erasure: request deletion of your data, subject to legal retention obligations.
  • Portability: receive your data in a structured, machine-readable format.
  • Objection / Restriction: object to or restrict certain processing activities.
  • California residents may also opt out of the 'sale' of personal information (we do not sell personal data).
  • Exercise any right by emailing [email protected] — we respond within 30 days.
6

Data Retention

We retain transaction and account records for a minimum of 5 years to satisfy AML and financial regulatory requirements.

Marketing preferences and non-transactional data are retained until you withdraw consent or close your account, after which they are securely deleted within 90 days.

7

Security

We protect your data using AES-256 encryption at rest, TLS 1.3 in transit, multi-factor authentication, and continuous intrusion monitoring.

Despite robust controls, no system is entirely risk-free; we maintain an incident response plan and will notify affected users and regulators of any breach as required by law.

8

Children's Privacy

Our platform is intended solely for business and professional use by persons aged 18 or over. We do not knowingly collect data from minors.

If we become aware that a minor has submitted personal data, we will delete it promptly.

9

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect changes in our practices or applicable law. The revised version will be posted on this page with an updated effective date.

For material changes, we will provide at least 30 days' notice by email or prominent in-platform notice before the changes take effect.
